Ensmile, founded in 2019, is a promising start-up that designs and manufacturers clear dental aligners. Dental aligners are replacements for traditional metal braces and are custom build for individual patients.
Design component includes 3D dental drawings that are then printed on 3D printers. Due to its customisable nature, the product development costs are significant and there is a sizable off shoring market.
Ensmile works with leading global brands for the design and manufacturing requirements. However, it felt that it can grow beyond white labelling and develop its own brands. It required onshore presence and marketing in its core markets of Europe and USA for this purpose.
We helped raise US$1.5mn Series A financing for the company. A global sales and marketing plan was developed as part of investor documentation for this purpose.
